KL Rahul, after parting ways with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), has expressed openness to returning to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction.

KL Rahul began his IPL journey at RCB in 2013 before reuniting with the team in 2016, the year they reached the final.

The Indian batter lauded franchises CSK and GT, adding that he wants to be in a team with an atmosphere like them.

A team that seems primed to target KL Rahul at the IPL 2025 mega auction is RCB. Rahul had a terrific IPL 2016 with RCB – when he averaged 44 and struck at 146, hitting four fifties in the season – but missed the 2017 season due to injury and then was released ahead of the 2018 mega auction.
