StarCraft aside, the Hearthstone team has also revealed 2025's major updates, with Into the Emerald Dream serving as the first major expansion of the year. After that, it's into The Shrouded City, before wrapping things up with an alternate-reality journey in The Heroes of Time.

Hearthstone is just eight days removed from the launch of its latest expansion, so one would think that there wouldn't be much news to reveal during the Warcraft 30th Anniversary Direct. However, that has not turned out to be the case.

Heroes of Starcraft will launch in January 2025. Two of Blizzard’s biggest franchises are colliding. In 2025, Hearthstone will host the Heroes of Starcraft crossover mini-set, bringing Zergs and Orcs together on the battlefield.
