This was the case on Tuesday as Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark joined world No. 1 golfer Nelly Korda for the LPGA's The ANNIKA pro-am tournament in Belleair, Florida.

Caitlin Clark dominated on the basketball courts this year but on Wednesday the WNBA rookie of the year turned her attention to golf and made her LPGA pro-am debut to great fanfare alongside world number one Nelly Korda and golfing great Annika Sorenstam.

Although The Annika has not yet gotten underway on the LPGA Tour, Wednesday's pro-am brought more than weekend crowds to the Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida. World No. 1 Nelly Korda and WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark were the main attractions as the two superstars joined forces for nine holes of fun in the morning.

Caitlin Clark is good at golf, but on Wednesday during the pro-am of the LPGA’s The Annika — the legendary Annika Sorenstam is host — she nearly nailed the patrons watching her tee off while hitting her shot into the water.

The pro-am at Pelican Gold Club attracts a bigger crowd than the LPGA Tour often gets for its tournament rounds.
