The New Jersey Devils and President/General Manager Tom Fitzgerald announced today that the team has signed defenseman Andy Welinski to a Professional Tryout contract (PTO). Welinski will join New Jersey when all veterans report to training camp on September 18.

Welinski agreed to a professional tryout agreement with New Jersey on Monday. Weliniski contributed three goals and 10 points in 35 AHL regular-season outings between Iowa and Charlotte in 2023-24. The 31-year-old blueliner has one goal and five helpers in 46 career NHL appearances.
