News agency ANI shared visuals from both stores to showcase the amout of people that stood awaiting a chance to get their hands on their new iPhone 16 models.

The iPhone 16 series is officially on sale in India, offering four models with various purchasing options. Customers can benefit from discounts, trade-in programs, and complimentary Apple service subscriptions.

As the iPhones went on sale, however, Apple released the first public beta of iOS 18.1, an early version of the software that will bring Apple Intelligence. New customers can get access to those features in an early version by joining Apple’s beta programme and choosing to download that update.
