Trump said during the debate that he has been “a leader on fertilization” while talking about IVF. Trump is aligned, of course, with the same Republicans who want to outlaw the practice, just like the judges in Alabama who sent IVF patients into a panic when they ruled back in February that frozen embryos were actually human beings.
