The Eagles’ passing game has relied a great deal on one A.J. Brown over the last several seasons. In 2022, Brown 88 passes for 1,496 yards while scoring 11 touchdowns. He followed that up with 106 receptions in 2023, again approaching 1,500 receiving yards and adding another seven scores.

After the Eagles’ 28-23 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, Eagles coach Nick Sirianni said he’s still gathering information on Brown’s knee. Brown appeared to get hurt after his lone reception, for 16 yards, late in the second quarter.

The Philadelphia Eagles, who have successfully tweaked their offense since their Week 5 bye, will not have their star receiver back on the field in Week 9 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. After leaving the game, AJ Brown has been downgraded to out and will not return with a knee injury, per ESPN's Adam Schefter.
